Metal festival OSTRAVA V PLAMENECH 2026 - 12th edition!

The well-known and popular metal festival OSTRAVA V PLAMENECH, which will take place for the twelfth time next year at the beginning of August, is constantly gaining in attractiveness and popularity. The absolutely unique venue, in the industrial area in Dolní Vítkovice, where it really breathes metal, certainly contributes to this.
On Saturday, August 1st, 2026, a fantastic lineup of world-class rock-metal names will gather there again and prepare another extremely interesting and hot metal day for you, their great and loyal fans!

Who will you see at the 12th edition of OSTRAVA V PLAMENECH festival? 

SOULFLY – The legend and personality of Max CAVALERA is always a guarantee of the highest quality! His famous band SOULFLY recently released their thirteenth album “Chama”! A powerful and heartbreaking album that is a fresh return to the spiritual education of SOULFLY, which always carries a modern touch and indomitable vitality. KORPIKLAANI - Every metalhead knows them, most can at least hum their songs and you rarely see fans so wild during their shows. KORPIKLAANI, the famous Finnish forest clan, who managed to penetrate the whole world from their mysterious forest. Their folk-metal music brings joy, injects energy into the veins and forces you to dance, sing and have endless fun! KORPIKLAANI are on a roll like a mad train and are conquering the whole world with their current album "Rankarumpu". Rough songs with the characteristic shamanic and very unique singing of frontman Jonne Järvelä, masterful and refreshing violin and accordion, soaring melodies, dynamic and cheerful rhythms, energy and a bit of melancholy, all of this is KORPIKLAANI and their always joyful, very intense and positive folk-metal show! OSTRAVA, it's going to be crazy!

BLOODBOUND – Swedish power-metal warriors BLOODBOUND will release a brand new album "Field Of Swords" on November 21st and with it they will march into a strong future, in which they will also appear in OSTRAVA and the OSTRAVA V PLAMENECH 2026 festival! After more than twenty years on the scene, BLOODBOUND stands at the forefront of epic power metal and with the new album comes their most modern creation yet. The concept album "Field Of Swords" will transport you to the Middle Ages. The blood-stained battlefields show new, gloomy faces and leave room for another very lively BLOODBOUND story that will captivate you, excite you and not let you rest!

Get ready for a dance and relaxed flight with the lovely and extremely pleasant rock flight crew from Sweden THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA, who are constantly pushing the boundaries of classic rock and with their catchy choruses, sharp-edged vocals of Bjorn Strid, known from SOILWORK, and the female vocals of smiling flight attendants, they have won the hearts of many rock-metal fans! Fasten your belts up and take off into colorful rock, with the masters of their genre! The fascinating Americans MUSHROOMHEAD will also be coming, whose harsh metal theater full of thundering drums, eruptions of light, smoke, mysterious shadows and masks, represents a perfect chance to experience something new and unprecedented, surreal, stunning in OSTRAVA! The well-known band from Hungary, DALRIADA, will also be coming to present their folk-metal songs. You can also look forward to a number of other bands, such as the Swiss-Serbian gothic metallers EVOLUCIJA, or the Swiss thrash/death metal machine EXIT. You will get a dose of metal from the Spaniards MORPHIUM and a bit of synth-pop-disco-punk from the Italian band NIAMH.

• No money refund is possible once the ticket is paid.
• Ticket forgery is illegal and punished according to the law!
• Children over three years of age need their own ticket. Persons under 15 years of age are permitted entry only when accompanied by an adult.
• Ticket = wristband. With it you can leave and re-enter the venue at any anytime. Once you take it off or lose it, you will not be able to re-enter the venue! All persons without wristband on hand will be immediately taken out!
• Ticket for wristband exchange will take place at entrance to venue.
• Organizers take no responsibility for any health / personal belongings damages caused during show.
• It is strictly forbidden to bring drinks, plastic bottles, glass bottles, cans, seats, chairs, various footpads including polystyrene or wooden "cubes", as well as any weapons, knives, scissors, flag poles, umbrelas and other things classified by staff as dangerous! The organizer reserves the right to personal security check in a manner permissible by law at any time! Person refusing to consent to such check will be refused entry or escorted out.
• It is strictly forbidden to bring tape recorders or video cameras to the area! Violation of this rule could be classified as a crime!
• Taking photos is allowed only on compact cameras without additional lenses. Only accredited photographers and journalists are allowed to bring professional cameras onto the premises!
• Organizer and artists reserve the right to film, video and TV recording of concert shows and event atmosphere. Visitor recorded for the document may also be published without further notice with no financial compensation.
• The beer is tapped into reusable cups with eyelet for attachment. A refundable deposit is 70 CZK. Cups are exchanged within purchase of another beer or could be returned. Promotional cups can be also available in the event shop. But for hygiene reasons you don't receive beer into this cups which you bought in event shop.
• The only currency valid within the event area is CZK (Czech Crown). No dogs or other animals are allowed in event area!
• All visitors must respect these rules and instructions as well as those given out by organizers and security services!
• Ban of bringing beverages to the VIP balcony (if is availible). Except for beverages in sealable PET bottles. Please, lock your bags and coats up (if is availible).
• By entering the event, the visitor declares that he/she meets the conditions of the current government hygiene and anti-epidemic measures. Please follow czech covid portal. (https://covid.gov.cz/situace/kultura/kocnerty)
• The organiser reserves the right to give instructions to the event participants in order to maintain the safety and smooth running of the event, to change the conditions stated with immediate effect if necessary, to change the programme and its content, including the performers, in the event of unforeseen events such as weather conditions, accidents, health conditions of the performers, etc.
• The Organiser may order the evacuation of the venue (area) in case of suspected danger to the health of the participants or the Organiser's property, such as natural disaster, terrorist attack, without any compensation for damage or loss of profit to the participant
