British rock legend URIAH HEEP will visit OSTRAVA on his last, “The Magician´s Farewell” tour, in October 2026!

That's right! Famous rockers URIAH HEEP are saying goodbye to their rich and very active musical career! They announced the farewell tour called “The Magician's Farewell” back in 2024 and from 2025 they will say goodbye to their fans all over the world in their own unique and unmistakable way! AND ATTENTION! The popular “Uriahs” will not leave out fans in the Czech Republic on their way!

They will come to play live for you all for the last time this year, at the end of October, on Thursday, October 29th, in OSTRAVA.

These concerts will write the history of world rock! These famous matadors clearly belong to the golden hall of fame of this genre, there is no one who does not know their popular hits. Anyone who has ever visited one of their concerts will testify that they remember them with sincere joy in their hearts. They are always not only pleasant, but also admirably perfect and naturally energetic, unforgettable show.

URIAH HEEP are legends of their genre and Mick Box revealed about their long career: "I think what drives us forward is one word - it's called passion. And if you have passion for what you do, you will eventually achieve it."

URIAH HEEP debuted in 1970 with the release of one of the milestones of world hard rock "Very 'Eavy, Very 'Umble" and since then they have sold over 40 million albums worldwide. They tour the world tirelessly, playing up to 125 shows a year to over 500,000 fans. The band's live shows feature classic songs that interestingly chart their incredible journey from the band's beginnings to the present.
URIAH HEEP, along with LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH and DEEP PURPLE, helped shape the face of uniquely British heavy metal and rock. It was from these roots, with classic, seminal records such as "Gypsy", "Bird of Prey" and "Walking in Your Shadow", that Uriah began their meteoric rise in the world of rock and metal, which continued with other works such as "Demons and Wizards", "The Magician's Birthday" and "Sweet Freedom".
URIAH HEEP are also responsible for the most sublime and intelligent use of vocals in a heavy metal context among the major bands that invented the genre in the 1970s. It is for this reason that “Heep” have been called the Beach Boys of heavy metal, and their influence is also evident in other bands, including Sweet and Queen.
The most inspiring chapter in the URIAH HEEP saga is the era that begins in 1986 with the entry of keyboardist Phil Lanzon and in 1987 singer Bernie Shaw into the band, and Phil and Bernie are still in the band today.

While in the 90s URIAH HEEP worked at a relaxed pace, in 2000 they released four albums of completely new music – “Wake the Sleeper”, “Into the Wild”, “Outsider” and finally “Living the Dream”, the latter of which is considered a masterpiece by the band’s passionate fans. URIAH HEEP's 25th studio album, titled "Chaos & Colour", was released in January 2023.

The current URIAH HEEP line-up includes Mick Box, vocalist Bernie Shaw, bassist Dave Rimmer, drummer Russell Gilbrook and keyboardist Phil Lanzon.

Special guests at the concerts will be Scottish rock warriors HEAVY PETTIN, who have been walking the world rock'n'roll path since the 80s and before a few years of hiatus they played alongside Ozzy Osbourne or Mötley Crüe. Now, after 30 years, HEAVY PETTIN are back! With a new album "Rock Generation" and the confidence of carefree rock'n'roll classics.

• Ticket for wristband exchange will take place at entrance to venue.
• Organizers take no responsibility for any health / personal belongings damages caused during show.
• It is strictly forbidden to bring drinks, plastic bottles, glass bottles, cans, seats, chairs, various footpads including polystyrene or wooden "cubes", as well as any weapons, knives, scissors, flag poles, umbrelas and other things classified by staff as dangerous! The organizer reserves the right to personal security check in a manner permissible by law at any time! Person refusing to consent to such check will be refused entry or escorted out.
• It is strictly forbidden to bring tape recorders or video cameras to the area! Violation of this rule could be classified as a crime!
• Taking photos is allowed only on compact cameras without additional lenses. Only accredited photographers and journalists are allowed to bring professional cameras onto the premises!
• Organizer and artists reserve the right to film, video and TV recording of concert shows and event atmosphere. Visitor recorded for the document may also be published without further notice with no financial compensation.
• The beer is tapped into reusable cups with eyelet for attachment. A refundable deposit is 70 CZK. Cups are exchanged within purchase of another beer or could be returned. Promotional cups can be also available in the event shop. But for hygiene reasons you don't receive beer into this cups which you bought in event shop.
• The only currency valid within the event area is CZK (Czech Crown). No dogs or other animals are allowed in event area!
• All visitors must respect these rules and instructions as well as those given out by organizers and security services!
• Ban of bringing beverages to the VIP balcony (if is availible). Except for beverages in sealable PET bottles. Please, lock your bags and coats up (if is availible).

• The organiser reserves the right to give instructions to the event participants in order to maintain the safety and smooth running of the event, to change the conditions stated with immediate effect if necessary, to change the programme and its content, including the performers, in the event of unforeseen events such as weather conditions, accidents, health conditions of the performers, etc.
• The Organiser may order the evacuation of the venue (area) in case of suspected danger to the health of the participants or the Organiser's property, such as natural disaster, terrorist attack, without any compensation for damage or loss of profit to the participant
