Live this Saturday at Pilsen METALFEST!
METALFEST OPEN AIR 2026 – Lochotín Amphitheatre, PILSEN – 5.–7. 6. 2026
International symphonic metal legend KAMELOT – renowned for their infectious melodies, cinematic storytelling and electrifying live performances – returns with their riveting new album “Dark Asylum”, due out on August 28th, 2026.
Set in the dark world of the neo-Victorian era, “Dark Asylum” invites listeners inside the gates of RavenHill Asylum – an imposing institution once built as a grand cathedral, now transformed into a place where science, faith and madness uneasily coexist.
KAMELOT founder and guitarist Thomas Youngblood says of the album: “Dark Asylum follows a soul trapped in a world of masks, shattered memories, and psychological torment as it journeys through the endless halls of RavenHill in search of truth, identity, and redemption. What begins as a descent into darkness gradually transforms into a journey of awakening, where beneath the fear, illusion, and chaos lies the possibility of healing, hope, and ultimately a journey from the shadows to Sanctuary. The album explores the duality between despair and salvation, blurring the lines between reality and madness through theatrical storytelling, haunting atmosphere, and deeply emotional themes.”
Candlelight flickers along towering arches and cold stone corridors as familiar apparitions greet you in the form of some truly brilliant guest musicians.
KAMELOT is coming to Pilsen's METALFEST, which will start in the Lochotín Amphitheater this Friday, June 5th, and KAMELOT will appear there on Saturday, June 6th, with their immersive, spectacular show, full of melody, mysticism and musicianship! Be there!
