Well, one more week and it's here! Metal summer starts next Wednesday, June 3rd at the Lochotin Amphitheater in Pilsen with a grandiose concert by Swedish titans SABATON, Nightwish singer FLOOR JANSEN and the great bands MAJESTICA and SCARDUST! METALFEST OPEN AIR 2026 will then start there 2 days later, on Friday, June 5th. In exactly one week, metal fans from all over the world will start flocking to PILSEN, so it's time to remind the parking and camping options!
ACCOMMODATION:
Paid campsites - CHILL VILLAGE, BLUE, RED and GREEN are the closest to the festival area. These campsites are fenced, guarded, equipped with toilets and you will also find shower trucks nearby. There is no parking available. Only a short stop will be allowed to unload luggage and tents. The campsites will be open on Wednesday, June 3rd from 10:00 AM (CHILL VILLAGE at 12:00 PM!). You can bring food and drinks into these campsites, but it is forbidden to make fires! There are still some places in the campsites (except CHILL VILLAGE) and you can order them >>HERE<<
Caravans, motorhomes
Caravan spots are located a short distance from the festival area in 2 sections. Arrival at the caravan parking lot is possible on Wednesday, June 3rd from 10:00 a.m. via Pod Vinicemi Street. If you have a caravan, but you haven't managed to get a parking spot (capacity is already sold out), another option is the Ostende Bolevak Autokemp (http://www.bolevak.eu/).
Public campsite Na Jíkalce
A large meadow for tents will be reserved next to the "Na Jíkalce" parking lot. This public campsite will be equipped with Toi Toi toilets, a mobile washroom and a cistern with drinking water. You can bring food and drinks into the public campsite „Na Jíkalce“, but there is a strict ban on making fires!
Other camping options
If you have not purchased a place in the blue, green or red campsite and are bringing a tent, you still have the option of camping in the Ostende Bolevak Autocamp.
PARKING:
Parking lot „Na Jíkalce“. If you have a parking ticket purchased via the festival website, park in the large parking lot „Na Jíkalce“ Access to the parking meadow will be possible via a one-way road from Křimická Street (via Toušovská and Na Okraji Streets), exit via Nade Mží Street. The parking lot will be open from Wednesday, June 3rd at 10:00 AM. There will also be an option to purchase just one-day parking on site, for 200 CZK (in cash!).
Other parking options
Parking capacities are very limited near the area! You can use:
- longitudinal parking lot on Pod Vinicemi Street (only in places where temporary traffic signs allow it)
- Lochotínksá parking lot (near Jysk) - only part
- Parking lot under the General Patton Bridge (only on Saturdays and Sundays)

TAXI parking lots
From 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM, they will be available at the festival area TAXIS for departure from the festival. They will have their stations in the parking lot of the Plzeň Zoo, a short distance from the festival area.
IMPORTANT NOTICES
- for the smooth running of the entire festival, please respect the traffic signs and instructions of the organizers
- the paid parking lot in front of the ZOO is for ZOO visitors only on all days. From 22:00 to 01:00 there will be a TAXI station for departure from the festival.
- park cars only in designated places
- do not pitch tents outside the designated campsites

Tickets are still on sale also in the Ticketportal, Ticketmaster and NFCtron networks, where you can now top up your wristband chips!
Tickets will also be on sale at the ticekt office on site. ATTENTION! However, payment at the ticket office will only be possible in cash (CZK, EUR!)
