German heavy metal heroes HAMMER KING shone last weekend at Masters of Rock Café, where they performed alongside metal ladies BURNING WITCHES! The single “Danger Zone” was also a great success there, their powerful version of the legendary Kenny Loggins classic from the movie “Top Gun”, for which they also recently recorded a video! "Danger Zone" was originally included as an exclusive bonus track on the CD - but this powerful cover version quickly became an absolute favorite among almost all fans, which was enough incentive for HAMMER KING to release the song as a separate digital single, complete with a music video.

Band comment: "Top Gun was more than just a movie - it was a cultural phenomenon. The spirit of the 80s perfectly captured in one of the most iconic blockbusters of the decade. And above all: with the best soundtrack in the history of cinema! "Danger Zone" is - apart from the instrumental Top Gun Anthem - the song that best represents this soundtrack. We always knew that if we ever recorded a cover, it had to be this one."
