German gothic-dark metal brotherhood CREMATORY have released a new video clip for the song “The Future Is A Lonely Place” in support of their new, very impressive studio album “Destination”.

“For me, “The Future Is A Lonely Place” is the hit on the new album Destination and a worthy successor to “Tears of Time” and “Rise and Fall,” says CREMATORY founding member and drummer Markus Jüllich. “With this song, we wrote an anthem for eternity that touches me personally emotionally, and every time I hear or play this song, I think of my unfortunately deceased father. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes, and then I always know that this song will go down in CREMATORY history.”

Over the course of more than three decades of existence, CREMATORY has witnessed a change of trends. However, they remain true to their hallmarks, which rank them among the most prominent pioneers of German gothic metal. After their last studio album “Inglorious Darkness” (2022), CREMATORY is now back with their 17th studio album “Destination,” which takes the band to a new, higher level than ever before! "Destination" combines all the strengths and phases of gothic metal and sometimes returns to its melodic-death metal roots. It is a clear triumphant return of CREMATORY!
