With the album “LEGENDS”, are SABATON truly going back in time. In 11 powerful tracks, they bring to life some of history’s most legendary figures, from the fearless Joan of Arc and the unstoppable Napoleon Bonaparte to the cunning Julius Caesar and the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. These are the stories that shaped the world, now retold, loud and proud!
Joakim says of the album: “Legends have always been woven into our music and ‘Heroes’ is the perfect example of that! I’m incredibly proud of ‘Heroes’ and everything it represents, so ‘Legends’ is just the next natural step. It’s like the story continues, but goes back a long way. We’re excited to finally take our listeners on a new journey! The next chapter in the Sabaton story!”
Meanwhile, Pär says: “11 songs that cover 11 iconic legendary stories. This time we’re looking further back in history than we have in the last few years, to times that I find very exciting. As someone who has always been into medieval history, knights and old legends, it felt incredible to finally bring these stories into the Sabaton universe.”
